HELPING DETERMINE CONSUMER POWER SUPPLY EVEN WHEN NOT IN THE MODEL
Did you know that СK-11 can determine where a consumer is supplied from even if it is not described in the model? There can be various reasons why a consumer is not in the model. The system can handle such situations by using geospatial analytics and searching for supply substations/distribution substations located near the address provided by the consumer, dynamically expanding the search radius. The solution has already proven itself in a number of grid companies, so we continue to improve it.

In the next СK-11 update for the scenario described above, links are preserved between power supply chains and geographic coordinates obtained from consumer requests. A new request with similar coordinates allows automatic population of the power supply chain selection, thus saving the dispatcher's time on locating the outage.

The function helps with outages in distribution networks of any voltage class. Among the most demanded use cases, three can be highlighted:

When a consumer calls, the Outage Explorer, based on historical data, will select the power supply chain corresponding to the coordinates from the request. This significantly narrows the fault search area to a single feeder.

In a city district, power is out. Dispatchers receive multiple calls simultaneously, and instead of searching for a power supply chain for each request, the algorithm combines them into a single cluster and allows proceeding directly to determining the fault location.

A combination of the two scenarios, where during a mass outage, the cause can be found from the very first consumer call.

The mechanism takes into account the development of the electrical network. If the power supply scheme or information model changes, the selection of an outdated power supply chain is reset.
