REAL-TIME TRANSCRIPTION OF DISPATCHER COMMUNICATIONS
The Monitor Electric Advanced Research Center team is expanding the capabilities for automatic transcription of operational communications using artificial intelligence. Following the implementation of the "on-demand" (by button) function, where a dispatcher triggers the service during a report transmission, a solution is being developed capable of automatically transcribing 100% of communications, including interlocutor responses.

As a reminder, the current solution allows for the recording of received reports and messages in the electronic Electronic Logbook without manual entry, as well as the correct determination of the entry category and form based on context. The challenge of transcribing specific power engineering terms and dispatcher equipment designations has been successfully resolved. The transcription quality is estimated at 89% (based on operational communications of three organizations), with a processing speed of ~0.7 seconds per minute of recording. Both indicators are significantly higher than planned.

Real-time interception of all communications will completely eliminate the loss of information obtained during operational communications and will manifold increase the speed of entering records into electronic logs. In addition, a search system is being developed to allow finding the full audio recording of communications during incident investigations or for other tasks.
