The communications processor can be deployed on one server or a set of two servers, if hardware and software redundancy of data gateway functions are needed.
In addition, there is an ability to deploy two independent copies of CK-Proxy on each server using the built-in virtualization technology. This enables independent processing of data streams or creating one more security perimeter without additional investment in hardware.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
CK-Proxy is implemented on Microsoft Windows Server 64-bit platform. This allows increasing the address space of server RAM and improves performance and scalability of the product.
System platform: Microsoft Windows 2008/2012 Server x64 Standard Edition.
Typical recommended hardware configuration for a control center gateway with a data stream up to 10 million measurements per hour:
- 1 CPU QuadCore Xeon;
- 8Gb RAM;
- 2 HDD 73Gb RAID1 + 1 HDD 73Gb HotSpare.
Client part of CK-Proxy, designed to configure and monitor the system, runs on OS Windows 7/8/8.1.
